- Foley Art (6th thru12th)$335.00Students will learn about Foley Art, which is taking film (animation or movie) and making sounds for it through the use of practical objects and everyday items in a recording studio for pitch perfect audio. From using wet rags on linoleum floors, broom sticks, rocks & sands, and anything else that can be found within reach, students will learn and understand how to psychologically trick the human brain to believe some ordinary sounds can relate to different actions they view and watch on the screen.

- Adobe Premiere Pro Film Camp (6th thru 12th)$335.00Students will learn how to operate a DSLR camera and the equipment that goes along with it to record professional grading audio and video. From there, students will learn the pre production techniques such as scriptwriting and storyboarding. - Graphic Design (6th thru 12th)$335.00This camp takes you on the tour through the essential Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator techniques to make you successful in some up and coming design fields. This camp focuses on fundamentals of print design practices as well as elements and principals of design and Typography. You will be making aesthetically pleasing posters, illustrations and custom digital art. By the end of class you should have a small portfolio that you can continue to add and craft your specific style around.

- Law & Order (6th thru 12th)$335.00Campers work as part of an elite team of investigators and professionals to solve a murder. Campers are involved with every phase of the legal process, from the crime scene investigation to the criminal murder trial.
Campers will gain experience with evidence gathering and testing techniques, such as, impressions, forensic odontology (bite marks), fingerprints, chemical analysis, hair and fibers, and blood typing.
Finally, campers will learn how to prepare a case for a mock trial. “Dun-Dun!”
- Veterinary Care 201 (6th thru 12th)$350.00
Campers will focus on animals from before birth to adulthood and practice care during their life emergencies including injections and drawing blood. We will PLAN to witness the hatching of ducks or quails and continue to care for them through the week (depending on when/if they hatch). We will discover the heart and blood flow, explore the formation of bones and the vertebrae, as well as creating models to represent each structure. To explore anatomy further, we will dissect pigs in groups to better understand the inner workings. An episode of Dr. Pol will be shown to experience what’s real vet would experience. Barn Hill preserve will be visiting to present their animal ambassadors, including several marsupials. Several animals will also be visiting throughout the week to learn about them and handle them.
Due to some graphic experiences, we are limiting the program to 6th grade and up.

- Learn brief anime history through interactive talks, and understand how the American animation pipeline differs from the Japanese pipeline.

- How Can I Make it Look Real? (6th thru 12th)$335.00
It’s a satisfying feeling when one can mimic life in their drawing when that is the artist’s goal. In this course, we will work from observation and imagined in order to establish a better understanding of drawing to make something appear realistic. Here are some of the topics we will go over.
How to draw cats / dogs: Like humans, animals have their own anatomy and understanding their structure will greatly ease your drawing process. We’ll be starting with a simplified skeleton, made from basic shapes and forms. Then we’ll go over the rendering process and build up detail. We’ll also be drawing stylized and cuter versions of these animals for fun!
Lighting Techniques: Of the fundamentals, lighting is an exquisite one to spend time on. Light can be an impactful element. It can act as a focal point or even suggest something in a narrative. Let’s try value study (dark/light) with a variety of drawing media.
How to draw hands & Feet: Our hands and feet are complicated, organic and beautiful! Many artists often find themselves in situations of needing them in paintings, character designs or comics. We will be doing an easy breakdown of the hand/feet structure, and also try drawing different gestures.
How to draw a face (male / female): We will discuss proportions of the face; ensuring eyes, nose, mouth and ears are always placed correctly. With practice and better understanding, by the end of this lesson, you will be more confident to draw faces.

- Introduction to Stage Make-up Design/Application (6th thru 12th)$415
If you ever wanted to try your hand at stage makeup this is the class for you! This class will explore the basics of makeup design and how to do it on paper as well as on your own face. Part of the class is getting in tune with your own facial anatomy to design makeup looks specifically for you but will also allow you a better understanding of how to best tune makeup to anyone. We will focus on three categories of makeup design: corrective, old age, and effects (3D elements, bruises, cuts and blood). The make up kits that will be supplied will contain everything you need for the class and all your creations.
